Lost in Product eBook (Ten product lessons I learnt so you don't have to)
Lost in Product is a handy, and hopefully entertaining guide to the main things I think you'll want to know when starting out in a product role. You could be a new Product Manager, Product Owner, a software Business Analyst (or have some other unique title - this guide won't address debates over product job titles, that's been done plenty enough already, and I frankly don't think it's as important as people say it is, so I'll just be referring to Product People throughout!), but the lessons will apply to you all the same if you have some responsibility over a software product's strategy and execution.
There are lots of books and resources about building new products. Lots of them assume you will have large amounts of autonomy and freedom to do what you want. That doesn't really reflect the reality of the job market, and so I created this eBook for those starting a job on an existing product, with the many constraints that working in the vast majority of real-world product roles will throw at you. I think product is an immensely satisfying career to work in, and so I hope the lessons here can help you navigate this complex but exciting job role.
You'll get the Lost in Product eBook as a PDF, which also contains links to several downloadable templates available for free.
